What do I need to get started?
Salon Suites will assist you in organizing your Business and getting it set up correctly. We will provide you with all the necessary information in obtaining a business license, securing a tax ID number, getting your own retail license, professional liability insurance, telephone installation (optional), & more. Basically, with a minimal startup expense you will be open for business in a very short time in Your very own Salon.
Location Location Location?
For almost 14 years we’ve had a great location at Kansas & Battlefield. Some other businesses located in the Center are: McAllister Deli, VIP Tanning, Party America, & more. We have very easy access, & front door parking at two separate entrances.
Can I decorate my suite the way I want?
Yes! We encourage you to personalize your suite with your own accessories, & color scheme. Although your suite is fully furnished you can bring in your own to create the atmosphere you desire
How long is the lease?
Our lease is for one year, vs. 3-5 years for a commercial / business lease.
Do you charge a commission?
Never! You keep all the profits.
Do you have a lot of walk-in traffic?
Yes & No…Salon Suites was designed for professionals who already have a medium to strong clientele base. Salon Suites markets for walk-ins on a limited basis. While walk-ins are always welcome, and do patronize the salons during open door hours. Management will greet & place that patron with the first available tenant that accepts walk-ins. Never A commission!
Our facility is also a security controlled environment for the safety our tenants who may be working odd hours, or are alone in the building. The call boxes located at each entrance inhibit unexpected traffic and pesky soliciting.
Partnerships or sharing a suite allowed?
Yes of course, if you wish to open a salon with someone else and work together in the same suite. We have a few suites to accommodate up to 3 stylists comfortably.
